National Entitlement Card!

About the National Entitlement Card

As part of its E-goverment and ICT Strategy, Dundee City Council is leading a project aimed at making it easier for people to access services and facilities throughout the city and beyond.

To achieve this smartcards were introduced in October 2002. The card is a state of the art, secure smartcard with a variety of uses throughout the city.

The National Entitlement Card is locally managed through the DUNDEEdiscovery Card ofices. If you have a DUNDEEdiscovery Card it will be replaced by the National Entitlement Card, but can still be used.

The project’s primary objectives are to streamline existing council card schemes into one card and to simplify and to extend access to facilities and information.
